I’m Michael A. Cohen, and this is Truth and Consequences: A no-holds-barred look at the absurdities, hypocrisies, and surreality of American politics. If you received this email - or you are a free subscriber - and you’d like to subscribe: you can sign up here.

I just wanted to quickly remind everyone that I’ll be Zoom Chatting tomorrow with Dr. Jeffrey Lewis, who is an expert on nuclear proliferation, foreign policy, and an all-around great guy. I’ve known Jeff for years, and he’s my go-to person whenever I want to talk nuclear diplomacy. But when I interviewed Jeff last week for a piece I wrote on President Biden’s handling of the Iran nuclear crisis, I was reminded that Jeff is not only one of the smartest foreign policy voices I know, he’s also one of the funniest. So I figured there was no better person to bring on Friday’s Zoom Chat.

This should be a great conversation, and I hope you can join us at 12:30 tomorrow as we talk about Iran, Russia, North Korea, President Biden’s foreign policy performance, and whatever else catches our fancy. Here’s a link to the chat, and I’ll send around a reminder tomorrow morning. As usual, live Zoom chats are open to all subscribers.

(Shoutout to reader John Swart for being the first to correctly note that yesterday’s article title “The Evil That Men Do Lives After Them” is from William Shakespeare’s “Julius Caesar.”)
