Thank you for this article, which made me laugh (momentarily). Would you please explain to me why someone who is so blatantly ignorant and immoral is being supported by all Republicans in Congress even in face of disasterous poll numbers and an almost certain recession? I don't get it.

Republicans are accomplices because they have their own agendas requiring Trump's approval, and decency and democracy be damned until they get it.

As a Trump supporter friend of mine explained; "dont particularly like him as a person, but I like his policies." That's probably why he won the support of many voters.

I had a friend say the same thing to me. The man has never had a serious legitimate policy in his life, just fanciful whims and nutty, ill-conceived notions. They don't call him a con man for nothing.

Thank you for saying to an "audience" of readers what many of us say to ourselves over our morning coffee. Our liar in chief cannot admit that he might be wrong about anything. It is as if he is saying 'If I am wrong, dont you think I'd know it? That's how smart I am!

God help us as we go down the rabbit hole....(apologies to our furry rabbit friends.)

This entire administration is an embarrassing incompetent band of screw-ups. Michael, please feel free to be that "broken record" - we need daily reminders of all the myriad of headline-grabbing horrors.

And "If you see something, say something"!? Well, we've seen plenty, and will be shouting it out at our protest rallies all over the country tomorrow, May 1.
