What would happen if the Democrats pointed out the damaging effects of some of these actions and allowed Trump to play them out so that the people that voted for him are affected by his gross incompetence. It would have been more effective to let Trump stop all the funding and then see the impact across all the states. It almost feels like the "resistance" is always helping him out by mitigating or resolving the worst of his incompetence. It appears that every time he does something crazy, and that would be painful to almost everyone whether red or blue, the Democrats always bail him out. Maybe it's time in certain cases to let the "Trump mess" and his "Yoke" policies impact and affect the people that have supported him.
"and funding nongovernmental organizations that undermine the national interest."
If I were to pick the insanest statement of all, it would be this. I can emagine the thoughty, both right and left, from extreme to just partisan, starting to write essay. Subject how, even their mildly abhored ngo peojects "undermine national interest". Not to mention the X and Facebook debates that could last months (were it not for OMB flushing their mastasting S__T down to the newly installed WH septic system.
My one regret on this post is that I didn't write more on this exact point. I saw Stephen Miller on CNN saying the memo was very clear ... right because how one defines the national interest is not remotely controversial or contested!?!
I saw that too. His demeanor was weird too. I heard a phrase from a few people, maybe Miller as well, that this is standard operating procedure for new admin. and yet we've never seen it.
A real businessman maybe would know you can't stop everything and expect it to still be there in a couple weeks, let alone 90 days. And the severance pay offered, easy to imagine it doesn't get paid but if it does, who pays it?
The idea federal employees can all just quit... could it have something to do with the recent disaster in DC airspace?
And the poor "press secretary" cannot let out any comment that even suggests that Dear Leader did anything that caused this f**k up. No blame for his leadership. Ever.

Please let him make the big mistakes!!
