Here’s a Jewish student at Columbia who paints a different picture of life on campus. I don’t share to suggest there is no anti-semitism on campus or that all Jewish students feel safe. Of course there is and of course they all don't. It’s impossible for me to know what’s going on from afar especially when A says one thing and B says the opposite.

I wonder what the response would be if people stood outside mosques and screamed at random Muslims, "You're responsible for slaughtering, raping and kidnapping 1,500 Israelis on October 7." Because this is what these people are doing when they scream at random Jewish people and then expect people to act like they're being righteous.

I thought the headline was a grabber. Free speech is good. Abusive speech is bad. "Death to America" is terrible and says our public education system is failing.

A Jewish 13 year old spoke up at his family Seder to talk about anti-Israel and antisemitism he experiences in middle school.

His father is from Israel. He’s had a sticker of the Israeli flag on his school stuff long before October 7th. But things have changed.

Most kids his age have no preparation for this.

This is not in some Liberal bastion.

Netanyahu’s response to October 7th guaranteed this, the package Hamas counted on.

Hard to imagine people having patience when so many people are killed and homes and towns destroyed.

It is way too easy to use this outrage to increase division.

I wish there was more hope for attention directed to long time Peace activists in the region.

Why is it toxic and anti-Semitic to say that Jewish mega donors are trying to pressure colleges?

This J-Post article says that almost verbatim.

Great writing, thank you for documenting. There have been several incidents on my college alma mater - students told me they don't feel safe, that the administration is not doing enough. I'm reconsidering my monetary and testamentary engagement with the university.
